MEET THE FOUNDER

Hello, I'm Chris Howerton (Howie) the founder of Howie Digital. I started this business because corporate America wasn’t for me. After going through my second layoff before the age of thirty I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own company. I have six years of experience in the Digital Marketing Industry and have been involved in the business world since a very young age.

I have always been passionate about the digital world, and I know that “going digital” can be a scary thing for some people. This is why I’m here, to bridge that gap with a consulting Minnesotan approach.

Prior to founding Howie Digital, I worked at Daktronics, SAP CONCUR, and Thomson Reuters this is where I gained experience in on-premise advertising and digital marketing. I also hold a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I studied business management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball with my father, networking, and spending quality time with my family. I'm always happy to discuss out-of-the-box marketing ideas and how one day the Vikings might win a super bowl.
